Dissertation topicAutomated Bone Age Determination Using Wrist MR Images

For my M.Sc. study, I was accepted at the University of Tehran, which is the oldest, largest, and the most prestigious university of Iran. Due to my high motivation, I had an excellent performance in this university, with overall GPA (3.63 out of 4) in Biomedical Engineering. I had got top mark score among all student in Image Processing course my interested field of study. Hence, my thesis was focused on Automated Bone Age Determination Using MR-Imaging from Hand’s Wrest. Moreover, this novel project is also one of the projects by which FIFA medical assessment and research center is going to develop for determination of football players’ age.Furthermore, this project has been presented at the international congress of science and football, Tehran, 2014 in the presence of Sepp Blatter, former CEO of FIFA by Prof. Reza A. Zoroofi who is a full professor at the University of Tehran and my master thesis supervisor. In the following this project has been presented at Harvard Medical School, John Hopkins University and University of Southern California in related as a seminar by Dr. Mansoor Fatehi in August 2016. Dr. Fatehi is MD, CIIP, and director of Medical Imaging Informatics Reseach Center and also one the trusted physicians of FIFA’s medical team in Iran and also my master thesis advisor. In addition, I received the first place of the best researcher in 4th Medical Informatics Conference, Tehran February 2013. Moreover, the results and outcomes of this project are published in different IEEE and Springer conferences and the paper which was accepted in IEEE ICBME 2015 conferences is awarded as the best paper of the conference.
